
14 Oct CuteCircuit at Holon Fashion Week
Tel Aviv, Israel. CuteCircuit was invited to be part of the Holon Fashion Week taking place at the Design Museum Holon.
This year the week long event was themed “Materials Fashion is made of”, focusing on technology, digital expression, and the return to handmade items versus the embrace of new technologies. Special guests included CuteCircuit Chief Creative Director and CEO Francesca Rosella & Ryan Genz, BioCouture founder Suzanne Lee, H&M creative director Margareta Van Den Bosch, H&M Catarina Midby, fashion trend forecaster Louisa Smith, fashion writer Robb Young, and the ever fabulous milliner Stephen Jones.
The week opened with a gala event at the Ron Arad’s designed Design Museum Holon were CuteCircuit amazing garments worn by models illuminated the award ceremony. Following the gala and opening conference HOF offered numerous interesting workshops, lectures and master classes. Francesca Rosella and Ryan Genz were delighted to speak about future of fashion and to give a keynote presentation focussed on wearable technology.
