On 13 May 2026, CuteCircuit’s SoundShirt returned to Rome’s Stadio Olimpico for the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa Final, as Lazio and Inter met to contest the trophy.

Following its appearance at the 2025 final, SoundShirt was once again part of the event’s accessibility programme, allowing deaf supporters to feel the sound and atmosphere of the stadium through the garment.

Sharing the feeling of football

A football match is experienced through more than the action on the pitch. The crowd’s anticipation, chants and celebrations give each moment its emotional intensity.

SoundShirt translates live sound into tactile sensations across the torso and arms. Supporters can feel the changing atmosphere on their bodies while watching the game alongside friends and fellow fans.

Designed by Francesca Rosella and Ryan Genz, SoundShirt brings textiles and wearable haptics together to make these shared experiences accessible through touch.

Back at the Olimpico

SoundShirt’s return formed part of Road to Zero, the final’s programme for a more accessible and sustainable event, led by Lega Calcio Serie A with Sport e Salute, Roma Capitale and Roma Servizi per la Mobilità, in collaboration with UEFA.

For CuteCircuit, returning to the final matters: it brings wearable haptics into the ongoing experience of attending live sport. We thank Lega Calcio Serie A and the teams involved in welcoming supporters and making the experience possible.
